Standards of Classroom Behavior
Students are responsible for knowing the following:
15. Primary responsibility for managing the classroom environment rests with the faculty. Students who engage in any inappropriate, prohibited or unlawful acts that result in disruption of a class may be directed by the faculty member to leave the class for the remainder of the class period, and may be referred to the Office of Student Conduct. Longer suspensions from a class or dismissal on disciplinary grounds must be preceded by a conduct conference or conduct hearing, as set forth in Parts 32 and 33 of this Code.
