Theater and Music Submissions

If you plan to continue your study of music, theater, or art, you are welcome to submit a fine arts resume with your admission application. The theater and music departments also welcome CD/DVD submissions. The following guidelines are suggested for musicians: vocalists and instrumentalists should present at least two works of contrasting style or historical period; composers should present recordings of two contrasting compositions; and jazz musicians should present a slow jazz ballad and an up-tempo jazz standard. Visual artists are welcome to submit 8" x 10" prints rather than slides or CDs. Resumes and prints will be included with your admission application and reviewed by members of the admission staff. Submissions of any kind cannot be returned.

We highly encourage you to submit your work as early in the application process as possible so that there is time for the appropriate department to review it and return their evaluation summary to the Office of Admission.
