Meet the Staff

Vince CuseoVince Cuseo, Vice President and Dean for Admission and Financial Aid - Vince begins his thirteenth year at Occidental. He previously served as Director of Admission at Grinnell College, with prior admission stints at Stanford, Santa Clara, and Boston College. A native New Yorker, he's a philosophy graduate of Fordham University who did his masters at Columbia's Teachers College. Sally Stone RichmondSally Stone Richmond, Director of Admission - Sally is a 1994 graduate of Davidson College where she earned a degree in political science. After serving as an admission counselor at her alma mater, she earned a masters degree at Harvard University. Following graduate school Sally served as a college counselor, faculty member and dorm head at the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA. Prior to joining Oxy's staff, Sally was Associate Dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Davidson College. At Oxy Sally supervises the admission officers and helps manage the admission process. Pati Pinero-Goodenberger

Pati Piñeiro-Goodenberger, Associate Dean of Admission - Pati is a graduate of the University of Iowa and has over 23 years of experience in both admission and financial aid, including positions at her alma mater and Scripps College. She coordinates Oxy's multicultural student outreach efforts and transfer admission. Her territories include Minnesota, Missouri, New England, and portions of Los Angeles. Erika YamasakiErika Yamasaki, Associate Dean of Admission - Raised in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, Erika attended Boston University where she earned undergraduate degrees in economics and communication. She served her alma mater as the west coast assistant director of admission before earning a Ph.D. in education from UCLA. At Oxy, Erika coordinates the Alumni-in-Admission program and the admission office's print publications. This fall, her recruitment areas will include Sacramento, San Diego, the San Fernando Valley, and downtown LA, while coordinating the Office's work in the greater Los Angeles area. Lindsay Dold O'Sullivan, Assistant Dean of Admission - Lindsay is from Houston, Texas, and graduated from Southwestern University with a degree in American studies in 2002. Following marketing and editorial experiences with CIEE and Rice University, she earned her M.A. from the University of Chicago. She then worked in communications and admissions with the University of Chicago Law School and Pomona College. At Oxy she coordinates Web communication and social media for admission and co-directs the athletic liaison program. Laura TokuzaLaura Tokuza Arenstein '05, Assistant Dean of Admission - Born and raised in West Los Angeles, California, Laura Tokuza Arenstein graduated from Occidental College with a degree in history in 2005. While at Occidental, Laura interned in the Office of Admission and was very active in the residence halls, serving as both a resident advisor and a hall coordinator. After working for a popular internet company, Laura returned to Occidental in 2007. She coordinates the College's international application process and supervises the student intern program.  Stephanie Osimiri '08, Admission Counselor - Originally from Dallas, Texas, Stephanie graduated from Occidental College with a degree in sociology in 2008. While at Oxy, she was an O-Leader for the Orientation Team and served as a Senior Interviewer for the Office of Admission. She also participated in Occidental's Community, Arts and Public Service Internship program where she was afforded the opportunity to spend the summer working at the Children's Law Center of Los Angeles. After two years working in the legal field, Stephanie has returned to Oxy to work at her alma mater co-directs the senior fellows and Open House programs. She will travel to Connecticut, Westchester, NY, parts of Texas (Dallas and Fort Worth), the East Bay of San Francisco, and South Los Angeles. Stephanie may be reached at sosimiri@oxy.edu.

Natalie KolodinskiNatalie Kolodinski '10, Admission Counselor - Natalie graduated from Occidental College in 2010 with her bachelor's degree in psychology and her Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential. At Occidental, she participated in the women's basketball program, spent a semester abroad in England, and worked in the Office of Admission. This year, Natalie will co-direct the Open House and athletic liaison programs, manage college fair participation, and supervise our tour guide program. She will be traveling to Arizona, New Mexico, Las Vegas, Utah, parts of the Los Angeles Basin, and Orange County. Natalie may be reached at nkolodinski@oxy.edu.

Adam Greenhouse '10, Admission Counselor - Born in Brooklyn and raised in northern New Jersey, Adam was a psychology major at Oxy. While at Oxy he worked as an editor of the student-run newspaper and interned in the Clinical Psychology Lab. Funded by Oxy's Richter Scholarship program, Adam also traveled to Amsterdam to conduct research on mental illness. Adam co-directs the Office of Admission senior fellows program and will travel to Philadelphia, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Boston, Colorado, the Central Coast of California, and parts of Los Angeles.
