Academic Achievements

Occidental won its first Rhodes Scholarship in 1907.  Our students and alumni continue to fare well in highly competitive national award selections.  This year, our students won four Fulbright Scholarships for the second consecutive year, in addition to Marshall and Truman scholarships and several other awards. Since 1990, our students have won the following national awards:
