Deferred gifts - also referred to as planned gifts - are gifts that are created today even though the College will not enjoy the benefits until some time in the future. These types of gifts may offer tax and income incentives not available through outright giving.
Planned gifts usually require significant planning and may involve coordination between your attorney or financial planner and a representative from Occidental. Individuals making deferred gifts to the College are recognized for their commitment through membership in the Ben Culley Society.
