James Sadd teaches Physical Geology and specialized courses in which students evaluate geologic and environmental data using trace geochemical analysis, computer modeling, Geographic Information Systems, Global Positioning Systems, and other technologies. In his research, Prof essor Sadd uses these same tools to evaluate environmental problems of coastal erosion and heavy metals pollution, and patterns of human exposure to various urban environmental hazards.
