Domestic Programs

Oxy at the United Nations
Students enroll in two academic courses taught by Occidental faculty,  intern  at the U.N. Secretariat and do a special project;  internships are arranged at the United States Mission to the United Nations or other offices in the U.N. Secretariat, or with U.N. affiliated non-governmental organizations.  The program is directed by distinguished scholar and former Ambassador John L. Hirsch.

Washington Semester Program
Students participate in seminars and internships concentrating on a chosen field of study during the program.  Students become especially well acquainted with Washington, D.C. because the seminars and internships are conducted in offices and conference rooms throughout the city.

Spelman College
Spelman College is an historically black liberal arts college and a member of the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC).  Spelman is a women's college.
