Eligibility: A 3.0 GPA; DWA 101 and/or 102 and ECON 101 and 102 required; DWA 201 strongly recommended; as well as three additional courses related to global issues and/or international politics and processes. Senior applicants preferred; exceptional juniors may apply. Please note that while off-campus study is generally limited to a single semester, participation on the UN program offers an exception. Approximately, one-third of students on the UN program studied abroad prior to their senior year.
Dates: Fall only: Early September – Mid-December
Location: New York City (Manhattan); population 8.15 million.
Program Structure: Students take two academic classes, work thirty-four hours a week at selected internships at the Secretariat, the US Mission to the United Nations, non- governmental organization or other related organizations, and research an independent study project related to the internship. Internships are not available in Legal Affairs, UNDP or UNICEF.

Housing: Small single rooms in a student residence hall within blocks of the United Nations building and the US Mission to the United Nations.
