Our mission in Academic Technologies is twofold:

  • to support the use of technology in teaching, learning, and research
  • to explore the principles that guide the selection of pedagogies and technologies to support successful learning and to link them to practices that work.
What's new with NITLE?

NITLE (National Institute for Technology and Liberal Education) is a non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting liberal education by providing opportunities for teachers in liberal arts contexts to create transformative learning experiences for and with their students by deploying emerging technologies in innovative, effective, and sustainable ways. Oxy participates with other NITLE colleges and universities to learn, collaborate, innovate, lead, and invest.

NITLE sponsors events throughout the year that encourage intra- and inter-institutional collaboration around issues related to learning with technology.

NITLE events are posted at  the website:  http://www.nitle.org/index.php/nitle/opportunities/programs/upcoming_events
