Asian Studies

This program focuses on the study of the languages and cultures of East Asia. The major is multicultural, requiring students to take courses in more than one area of the region; it is interdisciplinary, as courses must come from at least three departments; but it is also specialized, with concentrations offered in Chinese and Japanese culture.
