Biochemistry

Biochemistry examines the molecular components and process characteristics of living organisms, requiring a firm foundation in both biology and chemistry. This interdepartmental major provides a rigorous foundation for students interested in graduate school, medical school, research or teaching. Most graduates elect to pursue graduate training toward a Ph.D. in biochemistry or a doctorate in the field of medicine.
