The Occidental College Glee Club will embark upon a tour of  the Pacific Northwest starting May 23, performing in Seattle, Portland, Corvallis, and San Francisco.

An a cappella choir of 40 undergraduates from Occidental College in Los Angeles, directed by Dr. Jeffrey Bernstein, the Glee Club will perform works by Rachmaninoff, Bruckner, William Byrd, Morten Lauridsen, and others.

The Glee Club celebrated its 100th anniversary in the fall of 2006, and the group is a vital part of Occidental’s rich history. The Glee Club tours a different part of the country at the close of each school year, traveling internationally every two years. Last year they embarked on a two-week adventure in Australia.
