Timely Warnings

In the event that a situation arises, either on or off campus, that, in the judgment of the Director of Campus Safety, constitutes an ongoing or continuing threat, a campus wide "timely warning" will be issued. Depending of the severity of the situation, the warning may trigger activation of all or part of the OxyAlert system; a multi-layered approach using siren, voice mail, email, text messaging and website notifications. Students enroll in OxyAlert during clearance at the start of each semester; faculty, staff, and administrators enroll at the MyOxy section of the College website.
