TeleFund

What is TeleFund?
TeleFund is an integral part of fundraising at Oxy. It is a student-led telephone program that allows the College to stay connected with alumni, parents and friends.  Student callers build relationships, offer updates on campus events and news, and educate the importance of giving back to the Annual Fund.  With a staff of 50 students, Telefund is the largest student employer on campus. TeleFund is key in maintaining Oxy’s longstanding tradition of academic excellence.

How successful is TeleFund?
The students at TeleFund raise approximately $1 million annually in unrestricted gifts for the Annual Fund, which is used for scholarships, academic resources and equipment, and student research opportunities.

When will TeleFund call me?
The fundraising season kicks off in early September and calls through the end of the fiscal year, June 30th. With calling every day of the week, the students will try to reach out to all alumni and parents of the College.
