Karina White is a Los Angeles-based exhibition designer and artist.

Karina has designed and organized exhibitions for the Huntington Library, Art Collections, & Botanical Gardens, including: “Beautiful Science: Ideas that Changed the World,” and “Plants are up to something,” both winners of the American Association of Museums’ annual exhibition awards. She’s also designed exhibitions for the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles Library Foundation, Skirball Cultural Center, Norton Simon Museum, and Sunnylands. She’s a co-founder of The Art Department, an interdisciplinary arts practice specializing in large-scale, site-specific installations that invite people to come together and collectively re-imagine the city and its possibilities. Her recent work has explored the use of media technologies and image-making in a time of loss.
