The Administrator/Staff Council Summer Softball League is for players, men and women, of all levels of ability with rules designed for fun and safety. No experience necessary! Each co-ed team typically plays one game per week on the Oxy softball (Bell) field usually scheduled on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening. The season begins the week of May 16th and runs through the week of August 15th. All players receive a t-shirt at the end of the season.
Eligible players include Oxy employees, alumni, and those participating in College-affiliated groups or organizations; and, their significant others or immediate family members. All players will have to pay league dues of $20 and sign a release form prior to playing in their first game (for liability reasons). Players must be at least 18 years old as of May 16, 2016.
Come out and enjoy playing on our beautiful softball field while having fun with your fellow employees. If you have participated in the past, all you need to do is contact your manager to let her/him know you will be playing again this summer. If you have not previously played, simply respond to this e-mail and we'll match you up with a team in need of players. If you wish to put together a new team, please contact me by May 9th so that the schedule can be appropriately adjusted prior to the start of the summer season.
