All Oxy community members and their families, as well as non-Oxy neighbors and visitors, can access our campus grounds. Limitations remain in place for indoor access.
Oxy Employees and Students
All Oxy community members must follow all health and safety protocols while on campus, including wearing masks indoors. All community members, vaccinated and unvaccinated, will be required to have their daily clearance email from email@example.com in order to access campus facilities.
The campus grounds are currently open to everyone. Visitors will be asked to follow the current guidance that applies to students, staff and faculty and to mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Community members who host visitors are responsible for informing visitors of the applicable rules.
Independent contractors and volunteers who are hired by or invited to Oxy must show proof of vaccination unless they are working exclusively outdoors. Volunteers and contractors should follow all other relevant health and safety policies, including wearing masks indoors.
For prospective students and families: we have resumed our in-person campus tours.
The Library, Marketplace, and Oxy Bookstore are now open to all students (on and off campus), faculty and staff, subject to current hours, posted regulations and daily health check clearance. The Bookstore is also open to the general public. The Postal Center has curbside pickup service available for any Oxy community member without a health check clearance. Curbside pickup also remains an option at the Library.
The library is currently open to Oxy students, staff and faculty only and an Oxy ID is needed to enter the building. We ask that you wear a mask at all times and refrain from eating or drinking while in the building.

Read Fall 2021 hours for our current dining venues.
With the recent increase of the COVID-19 Delta variant, we are updating our Dining Services policies to protect the health and safety of faculty, students and staff. Unlike classrooms or other indoor meeting and work spaces where individuals can remain masked, communal dining by its nature does not allow for continuous masking. Therefore, after consulting with our medical experts, we are taking steps to reduce crowding in our dining halls. Get the details
