Have you considered a career in philanthropy? Philanthropy is the desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes, e.g. fundraising, grant-writing, donor management, etc.). Come and learn about the broad range of career options in philanthropy and how to break into the field. Experts from Oxy’s Office of Institutional Advancement and others will provide insights and answer your questions. Salaries for entry-level positions in philanthropy start at $50,000 and could increase to the mid 6-figures after 15 / 20+ years of experience depending on the industry.
