The Occidental community and alumni are invited to attend A Seat at the Table with GGRF, the organization's first fundraiser dinner in downtown Los Angeles.

While at Occidental, Kayla ran track and cross country, and completed her Richter scholarship research on the empowerment of women through running in Ethiopia with Professor Peter Dreier as her research advisor. She went on to present her research findings at Oxford and upon graduating, she joined the Girls Gotta Run Foundation, an organization dedicated to the empowerment of girls through running and education in Ethiopia.
