Mellon Lecture Series on Music Production
In support of the new Music Production track in the Music major, the Music Department is hosting industry professionals in a series of guest lectures, each followed by a Q&A and reception.
Lisa Hauptman is the Global Head of People at Downtown Music Publishing, where she directs talent development and recruitment. Since joining as Executive Director of Operations in 2015, Hauptman has overseen the company's growth from 44 to 110 full-time employees worldwide and its addition of three new offices in Tokyo, Paris, and Sydney. In this guest lecture, she will talk to students about how to find the right jobs and internships, as well as what hiring managers are looking for in candidates.
