Please join us for talk on "Owning the Power You Possess to Make Change," by Wendy Davis, lawyer and Democratic Party politician from Fort Worth, Texas. Davis represented District 10 in the Texas Senate from 2009 to 2015, served on the Fort Worth City Council and now resides in Austin leading her nonprofit, Deeds Not Words. 

Wendy is frequently invited to appear on MSNBC and CNN, and contributes regularly to publications such as Time, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue, The Hill and many more. In 2014, Davis released her autobiography Forgetting to Be Afraid.
