Event Date: Mar. 2, 2019

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Like his mother, Richard has made his fair share of mistakes. From house fires to demonic energy, join him in Keck Theater on March 2, 2019 at 7:30PM and March 3, 2019 at 2:00PM as he shares stories from throughout his life. It's free! Come laugh at his constant missteps and the ridiculous situations he finds himself in. Also, it's free! Directed by London Murray '18, Lighting Design by Isabel Schwartzberg '19, and graphic design by Dahlia Theriault '20. Did he mention it's free?! Hope to see you there.

Richard Via is a Senior Theater Major at Occidental College. While he's fascinated by all aspects of theater, Richard focuses primarily in acting, singing, and writing. His first play, Tom Flackford's Death Party, was featured in the 2018 New Play Festival and he has gone on to write another play, Our Spirit Mommy Cher, which follows a death cult's final gathering. In terms of performance, Richard's the Tenor Section Leader in the Occidental College Glee Club; here at Oxy, his acting could have been seen in A Little Night Music, the 2018 Women's Festival, and the 2017 New Play Festival. This spring, he's playing Caldwell B. Cladwell in the Oxy Spring Production of URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL.
