The Occidental Administrator / Staff Council (ASC) functions as the voice of staff and administrators to the president of the College and the College community.
Embodying the College’s mission statement, the staff and administrators work together with various constituencies towards the common goal of providing students with a superior educational experience. The Council creates and fosters strong and clear channels of communication among its members, the upper administration and the faculty. Committed to the high quality and outstanding reputation of Occidental, the Council participates, assists and advises in the governance and long-term vision of the College, presenting ideas that originate with the Council directly to the president and the community. To maintain a healthy infrastructure, the Council advocates for professional and leadership development of staff and administrators.
