Beatrice Gonzales

A native of Los Angeles, Beatrice Gonzales is an artist and a founding member of the Bite Art Collective, a shifting group of women artists working on a series of collaborative projects. Primarily a painter, she often uses other media along with paint to create abstract narratives, telling stories that vary with the viewer. Her individual work and collaborations have been shown at galleries and colleges in the Los Angeles area.

She is the Department Coordinator for Theater and Performing Arts Facilities, keeping operations running as smoothly as possible for the academic program, productions, and theaters. She received her BA in Classical Civilizations from UCLA and her MFA in Painting from Claremont Graduate University
