The Library at the Academic Commons is the place where expertise and resources -- human, print, electronic, spatial, and technological -- come together. It's a primary node in Oxy's intellectual network, staffed by research/resource savvy professionals. If you can’t find it here, they’ll track it down for you through Oxy’s extensive consortial arrangements (and sometimes magic).

Wired learning spaces and online classrooms create opportunities for interactive lessons. Open-source publishing puts the whole of Oxy’s knowledge and ideas at your fingertips. Over 100 years of Oxy history live within the library’s archives alongside its special collections, which include rare books and artifacts.

Oxy integrates the latest digital technologies with good, old-fashioned people power to help faculty and students with everything from research to resurrecting a dead laptop.
