Los Angeles and Film is a series of four film screenings that showcase the vibrant and diverse L.A. cultural landscape. This series was curated by Prof. John Trafton and will feature guests speakers from the Oxy community and from the Los Angeles film and arts community.

Charles Burnett’s dark comedy masterpiece set in South Central Los Angeles. The film
will be preceded by a Q and A with Burnett and musician Stephen Taylor. A limited number of
free tickets will be made available for Oxy students, RSVP to Professor John Trafton
