SAE Haunted House
Please join the Brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon as we host our annual Haunted House.
We transform our three story house into a spooky and scary haunted mansion! Tickets will be sold in the quad. Ticket price is $5. You can charge it to your student account. All proceeds will go to Children's Miracle Network!
The Children's Miracle Network is Sigma Alpha Epsilon's national beneficiary agency. CMN raises funds for over 170 children's hospitals, improving the lives of 17 million children each year. The hospitals supported by the Children's Miracle Network treat children from all socioeconomic backgrounds, including those without health coverage, so every dollar you can give counts!
Last year we raised $1000 and with your help this year we can raise even more!

Movember
You may have noticed the advertising around campus with the slogan "Remember, Remember the month of Movember"!
Movember is a world-wide movement started in Australia several years ago as a charity event. Men shave their faces on November 1, then spend the month growing and grooming the most righteous and ridiculous moustaches. Women can also participate in this event by raising money and hosting events. Phi Kappa Psi encourages students and faculty alike to get involved in this new, worthy charity at Oxy.
Registration and information about sponsorship for this year's Movember can be found here: http://us.movember.com/
Information about related events at Oxy can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/MovemberAtOxy

"Day at College" Event
Do You Want to Help Future First Generation College Students Meet?
If so you should come and volunteer for the CCBL!
We bring a class of 6th graders from a nearby middle school to campus and show them what a day at college is like. Volunteers will give them a tour around campus and give a "mock class" to show them the life of a student.
For many of these students it's the first exposure to college they will get, and hopefully it will inspire them and let them know they can come here one day too!
If this sounds good to you, please volunteer! We have time slots open from
9:00-10:30
10:15-11:30
You can sign up for one or both times. Email tangierdavis@oxy.edu for more info. See you there!

Dropbox Recruitment and Interviews
The fast-growing start-up Dropbox (dropbox.com) will be on campus recruiting for positions in their company.
Dropbox lets you bring all your photos, docs and videos anywhere and share them easily. Anything you save to your Dropbox will automatically save to all your computers, phones, and even the Dropbox website. And they are hiring!
They've hired Oxy grads in the past and they are back looking for talent. This exciting start-up located in San Francisco doesn't require a computer science background and offers a fun work environment and a unique career. Come hear more at the info session and apply to interview the next day on the 2nd.
