His research includes work on the historical and conceptual foundations of cognitive science, the philosophy of mind, epistemology, and the philosophy of David Hume. A founding member of the International Computing and Philosophy Association, he is past president of the Hume Society and currently serves as co-editor of Hume Studies. He is the co-founder of Occidental's Cognitive Science Program. Some of his publications may be accessed here.
