The Advising Center is closed for the remainder of the semester and will re-open in June. We will continue to respond to emails during our closure.
At Occidental, faculty advisors are the primary source of advising and guidance for students as they navigate the academic program. The Advising Center's role is to provide additional support for students on more routine academic matters, including questions about academic policies and procedures, tracking Core Requirements, placement exams, transfer credit, and so on. We also frequently meet with students who are undecided about a major or minor and wish to talk to someone about their different options.
The Advising Center also serves as a good first stop for students who aren't sure which office or faculty member to talk to regarding a specific program or objective.
Making an Appointment

Appointments can be either in person or via telephone (303 259-1341). We are also happy to answer questions sent to our email address: email@example.com.
