Career Development Center

CDC Redesigned Patio with Employers

Delighted to respond to the increased demand for career advising among our student population, Occidental has plans to significantly expand the Career Development Center into a centralized home for career discernment and professional degree advising, as well as fellowship and national awards advising, enabling students to explore post-graduate options all in one location. Have a look into the future of the CDC!

The Career Development Center bridges the gap between college and the world beyond.

As trusted experts and counselors, our staff serves more than 1,000 students annually. Each year, students come in full of ideas and energy, but unsure where to begin. We help them explore their options through job shadowing and internships. By the time they graduate, they have our support and resources on their side, ready to take on life after Oxy.

Our doors are open to the entire Occidental community. Whether you are an alum looking to network or a family member wondering what your child can do with his degree, we can assist you.

Students: Make an appointment or stop by during drop-in hours. We’ll start with a simple conversation to gauge your needs and interests, and work together from there.

Employers: Interested in some of the nation’s most talented and well-rounded prospects? Contact us to discuss recruitment or to register your company on TIGERlink, the Occidental job board.
