Laurence de Rycke Professor of Economics
Prof. Studenmund's primary professional interest is his textbook, Using Econometrics. The book, currently in its sixth edition, is one of the top two selling elementary econometrics texts in the world.

Studenmund has served the College in a variety of administrative positions, including vice president for student services and dean of admission and financial aid.
He teaches applied econometrics and managerial economics. Studenmund has received the Loftsgordon Award for excellence in teaching, the Io Triumphe Award for contributions to Occidental's spirit of community, and the Janosik Award for service to the College.
