OxyEngage 2013

Each summer, the OxyEngage pre-orientation program offers great ways for incoming students to explore, connect, and encounter through experiences that take place in and around Los Angeles.

Oxy student leaders will be attending each trip to provide support and answer questions about being a student at Occidental. 

OxyEngage for International Students (gratis*)

OxyEngage is proud to offer a trip just for incoming international and exchange students! This will combine on-campus sessions about topics important to international students with off-campus excursions so you can explore your new home! Discussion sessions include academic success, cultural adjustment, US culture inside and outside the classroom, F visa regulations, and US social life. These sessions will be intermingled with excursions around diverse Los Angeles. New international and exchange students will be pre-enrolled (no need to register).

*Because attendance is required unless granted exception by IPO (ipo@oxy.edu), the cost of participation is included in international student fees.
