Students are responsible for knowing the following:

For legal and safety reasons, no open flames or flame-producing device shall be located, maintained, or used in any hazardous atmosphere.  The use of open flames and explosive devices are strictly prohibited on campus.

The use and/or possession of firecrackers, fireworks, sparklers or other explosive devices (e.g., chemical or "dry ice bombs") are prohibited on campus and may be prohibited in the City of Los Angeles. Campus Safety will confiscate and dispose of these items properly. If the College incurs a cost to properly dispose of explosives as hazardous waste, the cost will be passed on to the student.
