Lockouts

Students are responsible for knowing the following:

Room keys and Oxy ID cards should be carried at all times. Each resident is allowed one free lockout per academic year. Residents will be charged $25.00 for all subsequent lockouts. All lockouts occurring between 2:00 AM-8:00 AM will be charged $40.00 per lock out regardless of whether or not it is the first lockout occurrence. Residents that are locked out between the hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday should contact the REHS Office at (323) 259-2531. Anytime outside of those hours residents should contact either their RA or the RA that is on duty in their area. An automatic lock change will be ordered for missing or lost keys and the charge will be assessed to the resident of the room.
