Associated Students of Occidental College (ASOC) is for the students! Every student paying student fees is a member of the ASOC. ASOC is governed by the Senate, General Assembly, and Honor Board. Additionally, ASOC offers student services, such as Student Activities Center, the La Encina yearbook, Bengal Bus, The Occidental Agency, Programming Board, the Occidental Weekly newspaper, CatAList tv, and KOXY radio station.

Want to be a part of next year's leadership? Want to play an active role in allocating student fees, organizing town halls, or sitting on hearing panels? Then run for an ASOC position! ASOC is currently seeking for the following:

Vice President (4)
Class Senator (2 from each Class)
General Assembly Co-Chair (2)
Honor Board Juror (3)

To run for President, Vice President, General Assembly Co-Chair, or Honor Board Juror, please fill out a CAMPUS PETITION.

To run for Class Senator, please fill out a CLASS PETITION.

April 17, 5:00 p.m.: Petitions DUE. ASOC Mailbox. Located in the Office of Student Life (Trailer South D, next to Bell-Young)

April 17, 6:00 PM: Mandatory Candidate Meeting in Lower Herrick

April 17, 7:00 PM – April 26, 11:59 AM: Campaigning

April 23, 12:01 AM – April 26, 11:59 AM: Voting

April 26, 12:30 PM: Results announced during lunch (JSC Quad)

April 29, 9:00 PM: ASOC Senate Meeting in Faculty Commons (for newly elected President, Vice Presidents, and Class Senators)

May 13-15: Senior Week Leadership Retreat (RECOMMENDED)
