Re-applying for Aid
Save the date! March 2nd is our annual deadline to re-apply for financial aid.
Students must re-apply for financial aid by our deadlines in order to be considered on-time. Students who apply late risk not receiving institutional financial aid.
Applications are reviewed between May and June for all returning students. Award letters are e-mailed by July to the student's Oxy e-mail address and the parent e-mail address (as provided on the FAFSA).
Use this checklist* to keep track of what you need to submit.
Step 1: Complete your FAFSA by March 2nd
Your FAFSA is partially completed from the information you submitted last year. Update the information, sign it, and submit it. Remember to list Oxy, federal school code #001249.
Step 2: Complete the Student Online Supplement by March 2nd
Complete this online application through your myOxy web portal, it only takes minutes.
Step 3: Complete the Parent Supplement by March 2nd
Have your parent(s) download and complete the Parent Supplement and submit it to our office by mail, fax, or e-mail.
Step 4: Submit Federal Tax Returns and W-2s by April 19th
After you and your parent(s) have filed taxes, submit copies to our office.
