We are pleased to announce a plan to reopen some outdoor athletic facilities for recreational use consistent with the latest guidance from the L.A. County Department of Public Health.

Dear Oxy Community,

Under the guidance of the College's COVID Operations Group, we are pleased to announce a plan to reopen some outdoor athletic facilities for recreational use consistent with the latest guidance from the L.A. County Department of Public Health.

Beginning Monday, March 8, Jack Kemp Stadium will be accessible to current Occidental students, staff, and faculty. Please refer to the Kemp Stadium protocols for more specific information about facility hours, access, requirements, and other rules that apply to the use of Patterson Field or Bill Henry Track.

In addition, the De Mandel Aquatics Center will be open for lap swim by mid- to late March. Further communications pertaining to pool protocols will be sent to the campus community at a later date.

Additionally, tennis court protocols for recreational use of the McKinnon Family Tennis Center will remain unchanged.

Have a good weekend, and spring break.
