Whether you're still exploring your interests or you're just about ready to declare, this workshop will cover everything you need to know about majors and minors!
Occidental offers 35 majors, along with a large number of minors and concentrations. With so many options, it can be difficult to choose! This hour-long workshop is aimed at first-year students and sophomores who want to learn more about the process of choosing and declaring a major. In addition, the workshop will answer questions such as:
- What's the difference between majors, minors, and concentrations?
- How does double majoring work?
- What's an Independent Pattern of Study?
- Can one change a major or minor after declaring?
- ... and any other questions you may have!
