About Miles Smith:
Miles Smith is a junior Math major at Occidental College. His research interest is in Applied Math using differential equations to model physical phenomena. This presentation is based on research presented at the Southern California MAA and Young Mathematicians Conferences. This research surrounds solving a complex fluid dynamics problem using undergraduate theory.
