Join us to celebrate the youth artists who participated in the Spring 2022 Collaborate workshops! Visit the gallery from 4-6pm to see the paintings, animations, clothing designs, drawings, marblings and sculptures that they created in their workshops. 

Collaborate is a free series of art workshops conceived and taught by Occidental College students for 4-8th graders in the local community.

Supervising Teaching Artist
Patricia Yossen is a visual artist working in sculpture, drawing, and ceramics, with a strong emphasis on materials, and the complex interactions of domesticity, career, and daily life. As a teaching artist she has worked the Metropolitan Museum of Art, El Museo del Barrio, Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), designing and leading workshops and hands-on activities to engage audiences and youth. Yossen was born and raised in Argentina, where she received her BFA in sculpture and art education. She went on to study and work in Mexico City for nearly a decade before moving to New York and obtaining an MFA in sculpture at Pratt Institute. Her work has been shown in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Argentina, Spain and Canada. She lives and works in Eagle Rock, Ca.
