Join us on June 21st to explore the science behind the FLUIDS installation in this hands on workshop for youth ages 9 - 12.
In this workshop, we will explore how various FLUIDS take different forms and transform with environmental interventions. Starting with an ice balloon, each participant will conduct a series of experiments to create their own "watercolor" paints, and create a piece of art inspired by the colors and shapes of the FLUIDS installation. This workshop expands on the exploration of air as a fluid, and offers an opportunity to observe how different fluids interact with each other, and how solid forms can FLOW into FLUIDS.
This workshop is FREE for youth ages 9 - 12. Registration is required. Masks are required inside the gallery.
