Please join us for Project S.A.F.E. (Project for a Sexual Assault-Free Environment)'s Open House for the Oxy community--a fun, interactive opportunity to get to know the staff and resources in the office, and learn about their support services.
While the event is primarily directed at students, all staff and faculty are invited and welcome! This is a great opportunity for us to show support for this important department. We encourage you to stop by to meet the new Project S.A.F.E. staff! Live music, refreshments, and other activities will be provided. You can find the Eventbrite page here.
For those who don't know, Project S.A.F.E. is a prevention education and advocacy support program dedicated to ending sexual violence and building healthier relationships on the Occidental campus. Project S.A.F.E. not only provides confidential direct advocacy and resources for survivors, but also offers ongoing, campus-wide, educational programming related to issues of sexual assault, dating violence, sexual harassment, and stalking. The team of professional staff and student program assistants at Project S.A.F.E strive to instill strong values of consent and healthy communication among our community, in an effort to continue cultivating a culture of care and safety at Oxy.
