Are you a transfer students? Need some help with transfer paperwork? We're here for you!
The Advising Center is hosting a special drop-in session just for transfer students. Advising Center staff will be available to help with forms and to answer questions. In addition, a representative from the Core Program will be on hand to review courses for fulfillment of Core Requirements. The drop-in session is from 4-5pm on Thursday, October 6 and you can stop in at any time.
What should I bring?
Bring along any syllabi or course descriptions you have for the courses that you want to have reviewed for Core Requirements. These can either be on printed out or shared electronically. If you've already filled out a Transfer Credit/Course Substitution form, bring that along as well! If you're not sure if a course is a good fit for a Core Requirement, check out the detailed descriptions here.
Where's the Advising Center?
The Advising Center is on the ground floor of Johnson Student Center in Room 134. It's near the SLICE office and directly underneath the MP.
What if I'm not available during this time?
We plan to offer more drop-in sessions for transfer students in the future, but you are always welcome to make an individual appointments with an Advising Center adviser.
