Join us at the OXY ARTS gallery from 5:30-7:00 pm on June 29th for a free PRIDE themed workshop facilitated by artists Rory Hayes and Cielo Mansilla. This is an RSVP only event with a recommended age of 16+ due to potential discussion topics.

Rory and Cielo will be leading participants through a zine making and printmaking activity as well as providing ample space for open discussion about queer BIPOC resistance.

We will be creating while under the inspiration of our current group exhibition, for the sake of dancing in the street, which celebrates the interconnectedness of feminist and queer resistance. Featured artists include LASTESIS, Morehshin Allahyari, and Yasmine Nasser Diaz.

Making Space is a community space for all artists, dreamers, and gallery goers to have the opportunity to create and be inspired amongst others. Come with an open heart and leave with lots of art!

This is a free event with supplies offered by the gallery for use during OXY ARTS Making Space.

Note time change: the workshop now begins at 5:30pm.
