Multi-media contemporary artist and filmmaker, Cauleen Smith, will discuss how she arrived at her recent work titled “The Warden,” featured in the exhibition MONUMENTS hosted by the Brick and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. She will be joined by Dr. Erica Ball (BLST) and Professor Will Power (TPS) for a conversation about her process of reappropriating a decommissioned monument for a contemporary audience and context.
