This June 6th marks not just one year of ICE occupying LA County, but one year of resistance. Join Malaya Los Angeles, an anti-fascist Filipino organization, for a fundraiser benefiting the Defend Migrants Alliance and our chapter. Engage in discussion, art-making, matcha, and storytelling uplifting migrant experiences and grassroots organizing against state violence. Featuring the Community Self-Defense Coalition. 

About Malaya Movement LA 
Malaya Movement LA is a the Los Angeles chapter of the Malaya Movement for human rights and democracy in the Philippines. We are Filipinos in Los Angeles who want to take action for democracy, human rights, and genuine sovereignty for the Filipino people. Malaya Movement is a broad movement of individuals, organizations, and various formations united under the following points of unity: defending human rights, defending democracy, and asserting sovereignty in the Philippines. 

About Defend Migrants Alliance
A united alliance to defend migrants! Convened by IMA USA and the Tanggol Migrante Movement and 100+ organizations. We unite to support and defend the rights of migrants, workers, and all those affected by immigration crackdowns.
