The John Parke Young Initiative on the Global Political Economy welcomes Dr. Sergii Glebov for a talk on "Russia's War on Ukraine and European (In)Security."
Glebov is a Visiting Associate Professor at UC Irvine and Associate Professor at Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University in Ukraine, where he earned the first Ukrainian doctorate in Black Sea Studies. His research focuses on Black Sea and Caspian security, European and Euro-Atlantic security, Russian foreign policy, and NATO–Ukraine and EU–Ukraine relations. A former Fulbright Visiting Scholar, he contributed "Surviving Hybrid Warfare: A Case Study of Ukraine" to a NATO Science for Peace and Security project on resilient civilians in population-centric warfare.
