HERS: Music Ensemble began in 2023 as an innovative, collaborative music ensemble dedicated to empowering and inspiring female-identifying artists and promoting gender equity in classical music. In this recital, HERS is presenting women composers who have a special relationship to Los Angeles, and will be joined by one of our very own composers, Zanaida Robles to showcase a few of her pieces, as well as people who have inspired her. We are growing fast and producing curated recitals, unique stagings of chamber works, and education and advocacy of issues important to women in classical music.
