Faculty Recital - Ivan Johnson, jazz bass

Ivan Johnson and Cathlene Pineda have been performing together since 2010. Cathlene is a critically acclaimed performer/composer working in Los Angeles and her music has been described as "airy, elegant and haunting". For over two decades, Ivan has been a bassist on the progressive music scene in the US. Together they create a unique sound using original music and improvisation. They will be joined by Daniel Sunshine on drums and Stephanie Richards on trumpet.
