Emily Mast’s work pulls from a combination of practices—visual art, theater and dance—and is anchored in the production of multi-compositional projects that employ live performance, sculptural installation, video and performance “souvenirs.” With every project she gathers a micro-community of collaborators that she leads in a collective exploration of a given work’s subject matter.

The Glee Club presents its annual Welcome Concert! The Glee Club will sing selections from their 2017-18 concert season and tour. Prospective members are invited to join the Glee Club afterwards in Lower Herrick for information about membership and auditions. This concert is free and open to the public.
As a curricular tie-in to Music 261: Western Music and Culture 1600-1789, this recital will showcase solo organ works by Buxtehude, Frescobaldi, Clerambault, and J.S. Bach.
A nationally-recognized conductor, concert organist, James Walker entertains and enlightens audiences throughout the United States, and his solo recitals are broadcast on National Public Radio. Winner of the prestigious Mader National Organ-Playing Competition in 1986, he is a featured soloist at Bach festivals and regional and national music conventions.
